The study will combine data analysis with geospatial modeling/geographic information system analysis (GIS). The candidate is expected to develop, conduct, analyze and publish the results. The study is funded by the Institute for Environmental Sciences (working groups Quantitative Landscape Ecology and Ecotoxicology & Environment). As a member of these working groups, the PhD candidate will have access to a multicore workstation and a linux cluster.
